Knight Endurance Guide

The Knight is one of the most popular classes in Rift, and this is perhaps why so many people choose to build a Knight character. Knights are tough, capable fighters that excel at close and ranged combat. In Rift, a Knight fights not for glory or reward, but for revenge. If a Knight takes action and fights back against an enemy who has been harming him or her, the Knight may gain strength from the fight, but if it is an opponent he or she is struggling with, the Knight may find it difficult to prevail. A Knight's skills and capabilities come from their ability to imbue their weapon with purity of energy and to channel that energy into powerful offensive and defensive moves.

In general, Knights specialize in two forms of fighting: offensive and defensive. Each form brings special rewards and drawbacks to the Knight when they utilize their abilities. offensive moves deal high damage in short bursts, while defensive moves protect the Knight from being directly targeted by enemies. A Knight also has special "blitz" attacks that deal massive amounts of damage in quick succession. Blitz attacks can be chained together for incredible damage.

In Rift, a Knight begins accumulating power as they advance through levels. As their stamina increases, so does their ability to fight. At higher levels, Knights begin receiving buff effects that greatly boost defense and stamina. These effects stack up and can last for several days or weeks, depending on how much game time has been spent in that particular Rift zone. There are many advantages to playing a Knight character, including their power level cap, the endurance and stamina values that are passed down through the family, and the special benefits that their weapons offer. Each weapon in Rift possesses a varying power level; this means that some weapons will give you more power than others, and thus be much more effective. The best way to increase a Knight's power level is to train them in all the disciplines of combat, magic, and resistance. Once you have reached a particular strength, you will unlock new skill tree abilities which allow you to further increase your power. Some of these tree skills include a Knight's Shield skill, which allow them to recover their stamina after taking damage while still standing, and other special skills such as the Knight Speed skill which allows them to move quickly through enemy lines.

Another great way to increase your Knight's endurance, and thus their ability to fight longer and better, is to train in the magic discipline. There are several schools of magic, each with its own individual benefits, and different skill tree capabilities. At higher levels, you can unlock the Stunning talent, which allow you to cause fear and temporarily lower the strength of an enemy you hit, and the Stunning Shot talent which make your next shot more powerful. In order to maximize the benefits of your magical training, always prioritize the use of potions and scrolls over anything else when in combat.

The secret to a successful Knight is to utilize the powers of their shields and armor as much as possible. You can use your shield to parry and block or you can use your armor to absorb damage and then use that armor to attack your opponents. This strategy can work well for both offense and defense, so you may want to use it depending on whether you want to rush into the battle quickly or if you want to protect yourself from enemy attacks. If you want to really increase your stamina, make sure to train in all the schools of magic available to you!
